Steel production in Ukraine in 2017 decreased by 12%.
Steel production in Ukraine in January-July 2018 increased by 1% year-over-year, to 11.99 million tonnes.
Total rolled metal production for the period under review rose by 4%, to 10.64 million tonnes, the Ukrmetprom metallurgical association said on its website.

Pig iron production grew by 7%, to 11.75 million tonnes.
As UNIAN reported, steel production in Ukraine in 2017 decreased by 12%, to 21.3 million tonnes.
Rolled metal output fell by 14%, to 18.4 million tonnes, production of pig iron decreased by 15%, to 20 million tonnes.
