Ukrainians sent their families PLN 700 million more than they did last year.
Ukrainian citizens working in Poland over three months transferred home a record amount of money earned, namely almost PLN 3 billion, or $800 million.
This is PLN 700 million more than last year, according to the Central Bank of Poland.

The amount is almost 90% of all transfers made by foreigners working in Poland, Radio Poland's Ukrainian service reports.
In most cases, the money is sent by Ukrainian nationals temporarily employed on seasonal jobs. In total, almost one million Ukrainian citizens are working in Poland.
