Ukraine's state-run Oschadbank has launched the world's popular payment service Apple Pay for holders of Mastercard and Visa cards.

The card holders can make their payments using iPhone SE, iPhone 6 and newer models, as well as via Apple Watch, the bank's press service said.

Apple Pay facilitates online purchases in applications and on websites using the Touch ID or double-click sidebar, as well as by glancing at the iPhone X to confirm the transaction via Face ID.

When paying for purchases via applications or Safari, Apple Pay operates on iPhone 6 or newer models, as well as on iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, and their latest models.

One can also use Apple Pay with the Safari browser on any Mac device not older than 2012 with macOS Sierra installed, while confirming payments from own iPhone 6 or newer models, or directly with Apple Watch, or with fingerprint identification via Touch ID on the new MacBook Pro.

Apple Pay is based on security and confidentiality since the card number is not stored on either the device or Apple servers, the financial institution added.
