The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has sent the last portion of its 2017 profit to the national budget.
The total sum paid to the budget, including the latest tranche, is UAH 44.6 billion, or US$1.65 billion, the NBU said on its website.

The NBU recalled that last year's profit was channeled to the budget in keeping with the schedule agreed with Ukraine's Finance Ministry.
As was reported, the NBU's Council approved the amount of profit the NBU had to transfer for 2017 to the 2018 budget. It was set at UAH 44.6 billion.
In 2017, the Central Bank paid UAH 44.4 billion of its profit to the budget.
