Exports of apples from Ukraine in the 2017-2018 season soared by 3.2 times.
Ukraine exported 49,000 tonnes of apples over the period under review, the Ukrainian government's portal has said.
In the previous 2016-2017 season, Ukraine shipped only 12,800 tonnes of apples abroad.

"Largest batches of Ukrainian apples are exported to Belarus, Moldova, and Austria," it said.
As UNIAN reported, Ukrainian farmers in 2018 plan to harvest 400,000 – 500,000 tonnes of fruit and berries, which will be 10-30% up on 2017, according to preliminary estimates.
