Naftogaz announced trial purchases of natural gas at UAH 7,629 ($281) per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT) in July 2018 and at UAH 6,900 ($251) in June 2018.
National Joint-Stock company Naftogaz of Ukraine in August 2018, taking into account offers from market players, has raised the purchase price of locally produced natural gas from Ukraine's private gas producing enterprises to UAH 8,209 (US$306) per 1,000 cubic meters from UAH 8,088 ($298) per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT).

"Taking into consideration market participants' offers, Naftogaz of Ukraine in August this year is increasing the purchase price of natural gas produced by private companies in Ukraine from UAH 8,088 to UAH 8,209 per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT)," the company said in a statement on August 13.
Naftogaz announced trial purchases of gas at UAH 7,629 ($281) per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT) in July and at UAH 6,900 ($251) in June 2018. Due to the fact that there is a quiet period in June and July, Naftogaz has not received any bid from gas suppliers. Therefore, the company increased the purchase price for August.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Naftogaz will raise the minimum prices of natural gas for industrial consumers by 1.8% from June 2018, to UAH 10,130.4 ($374) per 1,000 cubic meters as of August 1, 2018.
The maximum prices of natural gas for industrial consumers will be increased by 1.7% as of August 1, 2018, to UAH 11,083.2 ($409) per 1,000 cubic meters.
