Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says Ukraine's economy grew by 3.6% in the first half of 2018 (H1).

"Today we have [economic] growth of 3.6% in the second quarter. This means goods and services worth about UAH 500 billion [US$18 billion] that will be produced by Ukrainian workers and industry. This is very encouraging, but it is not enough. We must grow more, over 5%. But there must be investment and stability in the country," he said at a government meeting on Wednesday, August 22.
