The president has urged Ukrainian diplomats to promote export-oriented products of Ukraine's defense industry.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says enterprises of the country's military and industrial complex are ready to offer foreign partners advanced high-precision weapons produced in Ukraine.

"I was pleased to see that every two weeks more and more types of weapons were supplied to our troops. But it is equally important that the Ukrainian military and industrial complex today can offer our partners modern samples of high-precision weapons that are fully manufactured in Ukraine," he said at the 13th meeting of heads of Ukraine's foreign diplomatic institutions held in Kyiv on August 28.
The president mentioned that Russia had closed its market for Ukrainian goods.
"Russia's share in our foreign trade has fallen from 33% to 9%. All cooperation was closed from the first day, or even before the aggression," he added.
Poroshenko says it is extremely important that Ukraine's industry applying titanic efforts has mastered the production of weapons some of which were showcased during the recent Independence Day parade in Kyiv on August 24.
According to the president, it is very important to be able to receive components from partner countries.
"It is very important that after the first decisions made by partner countries we received the appropriate support from the whole world," he said.
At the same time, Poroshenko urged Ukrainian diplomats to promote export-oriented Ukrainian-made military products.
"I strongly urge you to help our special arms exporters, to provide the necessary assistance for the development of new markets in supplying Ukrainian products of the defense industrial complex," he said.
