Ukraine and the European Investment Bank have signed two loan agreements, totaling EUR 600 million, to finance infrastructure reconstruction projects in the war-affected Luhansk and Donetsk regions, and to revive small- and medium-sized business.
The two agreements envisage the allocation of EUR 200 million for infrastructure projects, and EUR 400 million for the development of small- and medium-sized business.
The signing ceremony for the agreements was held on Monday in the Cabinet of Ministers in the presence of Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk and Vice-President of the European Investment Bank László Baranyay.
