According to PM Groysman, his goal is to create a real mechanism for supporting Ukrainian farming and to increase the number of farmers throughout the country.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman promised to continue payments under the farmers support program this year and also to extend the program for 2019 to increase by several times the number of farms in Ukraine.
"Through such programs, not only do we have to give what's been planned for this year, next year these programs should operate as well. People should be confident and plan their investments for several years ahead, three to five years," Groysman said.

According to the prime minister, his goal is to create a real mechanism for supporting Ukrainian farming and to increase the number of farmers throughout the country.
"Not some large agri holdings, but really the labor that will be environmentally friendly and competitive, which will fill the domestic market," the prime minister stressed.
Groysman added that the funds that are transferred through the decentralization program in total provide ideal conditions for increasing productivity of labor in rural areas, employing new technologies, and producing the Ukrainian product, not only for the domestic but also for the external markets.
