In the Draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2019, the government laid the inflation rate at 7.4%, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman told a Kyiv forum titled "Full mobilization: General Action Plan" on Tuesday.

"It is very important for us to keep inflation below a two-digit figure, that is, below 10%," Groysman said.

"In principle, what we plan for the next year in the state budget is 7.4%, and also a reduction in the budget deficit ceiling from 2.4 to 2.2% [of the gross domestic product]. This is the frame that we must maintain," Groysman said.
