Building up net international reserves is Ukraine's commitment to the IMF.
Net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in August 2018 increased by 0.4%, to US$6.845 billion.
The current level of the net reserves is higher by 2.6% than the indicator registered early this year, the NBU said on its website.

UNIAN memo. Ukraine's international reserves as of September 1, 2018, amounted to US$17.232 billion, which was 8.4% lower than the indicator at the beginning of the year. The expansion of net international reserves is one of Ukraine's commitments under a program of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
