Local authorities will be able to independently decide on the start of the heating season taking into account the real weather conditions.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine at a meeting on Wednesday, September 3, decided to start the heating season from October 15.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says local authorities will be able to independently decide on the start of the heating season taking into account the real weather conditions.
"I believe this will be a test for the local authorities for non-indifference and understanding that people should live in comfort," he said, adding that the government had done its utmost for regions to normally enter the winter.
Groysman also said that tomorrow, on September 4, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister Hennadiy Zubko would hold a conference call with the country's regions on the preparation for the heating season.
