The IMF also predicts inflation in Ukraine in 2019 is expected to decelerate to 6.2%, according to the IMF's World Economic Outlook.
The IMF estimates the average annual inflation rate will be 10.9% in 2018 and 7.3% in 2019.
UNIAN memo. Inflation in Ukraine in August 2018 was estimated at 9% year-over-year, accelerating from 8.9% in July 2018.
The National Bank predicts inflation by the end of 2018 at the level of 8.9%, which almost corresponds to the government forecast set at 9%.
The International Monetary Fund and the World Bank expect this year's inflation in Ukraine to reach 10%.
