The equipment has been accepted for service by the Thai army.
Ukrainian-made main battle tanks and armored personnel carriers successfully passed all tests in Thailand and were accepted for service by the Thai army, according to the press service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
The issue was discussed during the negotiations between NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov and Thai high officials that took place during their visit to the Arms and Security Expo and in the Aviasvit XXI aerospace show in Kyiv.
In particular, during negotiations with the Deputy Commander of the Thai Navy, Admiral Sangkorn Pongsiri, issues of expanding bilateral military-technical cooperation were discussed.

The NSDC noted that the Thai military had expressed interest in the new Ukrainian BTR-4MB1, which, according to them, “could become the main combat vehicles of the Royal Marine Corps.”
“According to Thai officials, military equipment and weapons acquired in Ukraine, in particular, tanks and armored personnel carriers, successfully passed all tests and were adopted by the army,” the report said.
