The head of government believes this is a fair decision.
A total of 90% of the profits of Ukraine's energy giant Naftogaz will be returned to the state budget, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said at an extraordinary government meeting Friday.
"We made a decision that 90% of the profits of NAC Naftogaz will be returned to the budget, and from the budget, they will be allocated for the needs of Ukrainian citizens and the Ukrainian state," the prime minister said.
According to Groysman, it will be a fair decision.

“I think that this is fair – instead of covering excessive salaries and bonuses, all this money should be put in the state treasury. This is a matter of principle,” Groysman emphasized.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the government following the negotiations with the International Monetary Fund moved to increase gas prices for the households by 23.5% starting November.
