According to the prime minister, there is no threat to central heating in Ukrainian households.
Ukraine has accumulated sufficient gas reserves in its underground storage facilities to safely pass through the 2018-2019 heating season, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman told a government meeting Wednesday.
“A sufficient volume of gas reserves has been accumulated in storage facilities. This means that nothing threatens the heating season,” the prime minister said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, as of October 20, natural gas reserves in underground storage facilities across Ukraine since the beginning of the injection period (April 9) have increased 2.27 times, or 9.47 billion cubic meters, to 16.9 bcm.
Ukrainian gas storage facilities are almost 55% full. The country entered into 2018 with a record high volume of gas reserves over the past 5 years at 14.7 bcm.
