The relevant decision of the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization (NCCIR) of September 18 has come into force.
"Please note that from November 1, 2018, new marginal tariffs come into force approved by the NCCIR decision of September 18, 2018 No. 488 'On approval of marginal tariffs for public telecommunications services and recognition of the NCCIR resolution dated November 28, 2017 No. 606' registered in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on October 2, 2018 (No. 1125/32577)," the regulator said.

Earlier, Ukraine's monopoly phone operator Ukrtelecom appealed to the NCCIR with a request to consider increasing the marginal tariffs for landline phone services by 14% from November 2018 and another 10% from January 2019 due to the rising cost of service.
