Ryanair alone launched flights from Kyiv to six cities in Europe.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has boasted that 22 news flights have been launched from Ukrainian airports this week.
"It was my dream when we opened symbolic doors to Europe on June 11 last year [having introduced visa-free travel for Ukrainians]. Now we are expanding opportunities for Ukrainians to travel at competitive prices. Visa-free travel is in effect, and Europe is getting closer and becoming more affordable," the president wrote on Twitter on November 2.

As UNIAN reported earlier, one of Europe's largest low-cost airlines, Ryanair, on October 28 launched flights from Kyiv's Boryspil Airport to another six cities in Europe, namely Vilnius (Lithuania), Warsaw and Bydgoszcz (both in Poland), Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain), Bratislava (Slovakia), and London Stansted (the United Kingdom).
