Poroshenko adds US$48,082 in interest from bank deposits to declaration of assets as of Nov 2

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has additionally declared UAH 1.354 million (US$48,082) in interest income from deposits in the International Investment Bank (IIB) as of November 2, 2018.

Thus, the president's interest income from deposits in the IIB for 2018 totaled UAH 12.4 million ($440,341), according to the state register of declarations of persons authorized to perform state or local government functions.

As was earlier reported, on October 26, Poroshenko declared UAH 28.817 million ($1 million) in income from the Ministry of Finance for the alienation of securities and corporate rights, as well as another UAH 6 million ($213,068) in dividends from PJSC Closed-End Non-Diversified Corporate Investment Fund "Prime Asset Capital."

According to the declarations, Poroshenko's total income for 2018 as of November 2 was estimated at UAH 126.7 million ($4.5 million), which was almost 8 times up from UAH 16.3 million ($578,835) declared in 2017.

As of October 2, the president's income in 2018 exceeded by 5 times the figure declared in 2017.
