JCB will soon submit a package of documents to the National Bank of Ukraine for obtaining licenses.
One of the world's five largest payment systems in terms of issued payment cards and payment transactions for goods and services – Japanese Credit Bureau (JCB) — may enter Ukraine.

"In the near future, JCB will submit a package of documents to the National Bank of Ukraine [NBU] for obtaining licenses," the TV news service TSN.ua reported, referring to JCB International (Eurasia) LLC General Director Takashi Suetsugu, who met with NBU Governor Yakiv Smolii and the regulator's management on November 5.
JCB reports that 117 million customers were holders of its cards as of the end of 2017. The total annual volume of JCB transactions is estimated at $281 billion. JCB cards are issued in 23 countries and accepted in 190 countries.
