Ukraine in Jan-Oct cuts oil imports by 4.9% - Fiscal Service

Main oil suppliers were Azerbaijan and Iran.

In January-October 2018, Ukraine imported crude oil and gas condensate worth $346.6 million, which is 4.9% less than in the same period last year, according to the State Fiscal Service.

Over 10 months, a total of 613,000 tonnes of crude oil and gas condensate was imported.

Main oil supplies (92.89%, worth $321.94 million) came from Azerbaijan, Iran (4.19%, worth $14.54 million), and Algeria (2.07%, worth $7.176 million). Other countries supplied oil worth a total of $2.917 million.

As UNIAN reported earlier, in 2017 Ukraine imported crude oil and gas condensate worth $442.2 million, which is 2.5 times more than in 2016.

The main oil supplies (85.2%, worth $376.8 million) came from Azerbaijan, Iran (8.5%, worth $37.7 million), and Kazakhstan (3.9%, worth $17.5 million). Other countries supplied oil worth a total of $10 million.
