European Defense Agency seeks deeper cooperation with Ukraine - Vice PM

According to Klympush-Tsintsadze, the agency head stated his interest in enhancing such work.

The European Defense Agency is interested in deepening cooperation with Ukraine, according to Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze.

The EDA executive director, Jorge Domecq, assured that "the European Defense Agency is interested in deepening cooperation with Ukraine," the Vice PM tweeted Friday.

Klympush-Tsintsadze said that she supported the intentions and expressed gratitude for such position.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukraine visit of the Executive Director of the European Defense Agency, Jorge Domecq, was announced by Ukraine's envoy to the European Union, Mykola Tochytskyi.

According to the ambassador, during the visit, Domecq will discuss cooperation with Ukrainian officials in the framework of the administrative agreement signed in 2015 between the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the European Defense Agency.

Tochytskyi stressed that international partners continued strengthening Ukraine's defense capability.
