Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman says the Cabinet of Ministers will do its utmost to ensure the country's economic stability if martial law is introduced in Ukraine for 60 days due to the situation in the Kerch Strait.

"We'll continue providing everything that concerns the national economy and its growth. We'll keep calm and order, as well as provide resources to protect the state," the government press service quoted Groysman as saying on November 26, when commenting on the National Security and Defense Council's recommendation to introduce martial law.

According to the prime minister, Ukraine must mobilize all resources to protect its territorial integrity.

"If there is a need to make decisions that on the one hand don't infringe upon the rights and obligations of people and on the other hand mobilize state reserves to protect our borders and integrity, this must be done. We've been under aggression, both concealed and undisguised, for the fifth year already. And what has happened is unacceptable. I think that the entire civilized world must mobilize to put an end to this savagery. No one gave anyone the right to neglect the law and encroach on the territorial integrity of the state," he added.
