Ukrainian Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman sees no grounds for an economic crisis in Ukraine after the introduction of martial law in the country.

"I don't see any grounds today for an economic crisis. Moreover, I want to emphasize that we all have every opportunity to ensure stability: Everything will be absolutely normal in the economy, in stores, at airports, on railways, and on roads," the prime minister said at a parliament meeting on November 26 regarding the introduction of a temporary martial law in Ukraine.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on November 26 gave the green light to a presidential decree on the introduction of martial law in Ukraine for 30 days in a number of regions located along the border with Russia and the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border, as well as along the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

The decision was made on the recommendation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine following a Russian attack on Ukrainian Navy boats near the Kerch Strait after blocking their passage under the Kerch Strait Bridge toward the Sea of Azov on November 25.

On November 26, the International Monetary Fund officially confirmed the absence of legal restrictions on the continuation of cooperation with Ukraine after the introduction of martial law.
