The Pakistani side has confirmed its readiness to meet the needs of Ukraine by supplying the products in a short time.
Ukraine's state-run military-industrial concern Ukroboronprom has discussed with management of Pakistani-based Pakistan Ordnance Factories the possibility of supplying ammunition for the Ukrainian army, as well as components for their production in Ukraine.
"The Pakistani side has confirmed its interest and readiness to meet the needs of Ukraine by supplying its products in a short time," the Ukroboronprom's press service said, following the meeting of the two sides at the 10th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) event being held in Karachi on November 27-30.

In addition, the Ukrainian delegation held talks with the management of one of the scientific and industrial organizations in Pakistan where the terms and conditions for launching a joint Ukrainian-Pakistani production of high-precision missiles of various classes were discussed. The parties confirmed their readiness to start joint research and development work in the coming months.
As UNIAN reported, massive fires have affected several ammo depots in Ukraine in the past few years as a result of suspected sabotage. This led to the country losing a significant amount of ammunition from its reserves.
