The balance of funds on the single account of Ukraine's State Treasury Service was estimated at UAH 17.205 billion (US$606 million) as of December 1, which was 17.5% up from the level recorded as of November 1, 2018.

The balance on the single account as of December 1, 2018, shrank by 67.8% from the level reported on December 1, 2017, having grown by almost 3.4 times from the beginning of 2018, according to the website of Ukraine's State Treasury Service.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the balance of funds on the Treasury's single account was estimated at UAH 5.099 billion (US$179.6 million) as of January 1, 2018, which was 64.3% down from the figure as of January 1, 2017.
The balance on the single treasury account is not a constant value. It is subject to increases due to revenues from taxes and other mandatory payments to the state and local budgets and subject to decreases amid budget spending peaks.
