In 2017, Ukraine transported a record high volume of natural gas over the past few years.
Transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in January-November 2018 declined by 7.4% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 79.162 billion cubic meters (bcm).

In particular, gas transit supplies from Russia via Ukraine in November 2018 alone stood at 7.1 bcm, which was 12.3% down y-o-y, the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine transported 93 bcm of gas to the European countries in 2017, which was a record high amount in the past years.
