Such a plan on large-scale investment in infrastructure development and lending to the real sector would benefit Ukraine, according to the prime minister.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman believes that now it is difficult to assess the probability of implementation of the so-called Marshall Plan for Ukraine a long-term plan for the support of the country.
"I believe that we are only on this path now. I think that we can follow it, but the likelihood of it [implementation of the Marshall Plan] is still difficult to assess," he said at the conference, titled "New Industrialization: Joint Actions of the Government and Businesses," held on December 11.
According to the prime minister, such a plan on large-scale investment in infrastructure development and lending to the real sector could benefit Ukraine.
"Such a plan would be quite a progressive decision, the only thing is that we need to determine its parameters," he added.

As UNIAN reported earlier, at the end of March 2017, the Congress of the European People's Party adopted a resolution on the development of a long-term plan for the support of Ukraine, the so-called Marshall Plan for Ukraine.
In June, the Marshall Plan for Ukraine was presented at the Lithuanian Delegation to the EU. Members of an ad hoc group on the development of the plan, former Prime Ministers of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius and Gediminas Kirkilas, took part in the presentation.
On August 18, Ukraine's Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv said the New European Plan for Ukraine provided for at least EUR 5 billion in annual support from the European Union for the implementation of reforms aimed at the country's economic growth and development.
According to Kubiv, the plan is now being actively discussed by key international institutions with the aim of forming a "group of friends" of Ukraine and ensuring the required support for its implementation.
