The issue of a souvenir banknote is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921 and the introduction into circulation of Ukraine's first paper money.
On Dec 17, 2018, the National Bank of Ukraine will issue a souvenir UAH 100 banknote reproducing the design of a hundred hryvnia banknote put into circulation on Oct 17, 1918.
The issue of a souvenir banknote is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921 and the introduction into circulation of Ukraine's first paper money, according to the NBU press service.
The circulation volume will be 100,000 pieces, including 50,000 pieces in a souvenir package, the report said.
It is noted that in UV rays, the stylized images of Ukrainian flags get a yellow-blue glow.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in November, Ukraine released silver hexagonal coins "100th anniversary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine".
