In turn, the Vice-President of the European Commission noted that the stabilization of the macro-financial situation in Ukraine was an impetus for making a decision to allocate funds to Ukraine.

Therefore, the EU expects that Ukraine will continue to maintain the reform momentum and pay attention to targeted changes in the tax, energy, financial and social sectors.

As reported by UNIAN, the European Council on June 26 approved the Fourth Program of Macro-Financial Assistance to Ukraine in the amount of EUR 1 billion. Last week, the European Commission provided Ukraine with the first tranche of macro-financial assistance with a nominal amount of EUR 500 million in the form of a loan at 1.25%, maturing in April 2033.
