The minimum wage rose from UAH 3,723 ($136) reported in January 2018.
The minimum wage in Ukraine grew to UAH 4,173 (US$152) per month on January 1, 2019, or up to UAH 25.13 ($0.91) per hour.
The minimum monthly living wage is set at UAH 1,853 ($67.5) per capita as of January 1, 2019, UAH 1,936 ($70.5) per capita as of July 1, and UAH 2,027 ($73.8) per capita as of December 1.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the minimum wage in Ukraine grew on January 1, 2018, from UAH 3,200 ($117) to UAH 3,723 ($136).
The Law on the National Budget of Ukraine for 2018 set the minimum monthly living wages at UAH 1,700 ($62) per capita as of January 1, 2018, UAH 1,777 ($65%) per capita as of July 1, and UAH 1,853 ($68) per capita as of December 1.
The average nominal salary of a full-time employee grew by 24.9% in Ukraine in October 2018 year-over-year (y-o-y), to UAH 9,218, or $336.
UNIAN memo. the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's parliament, on November 23 passed the national budget of Ukraine for 2019 with the budget deficit limit set at UAH 89.989 billion ($3.28 billion), or 2.3% of GDP, revised and approved by the Cabinet of Ministers for the second reading.
Some 239 lawmakers voted in favor of relevant bill No. 9000, taking into account the proposals of the Verkhovna Rada's budget committee for the second reading and 240 MPs backed the bill as a whole, with a minimum of 226 votes required.
The approved budget is based on 3% growth of real GDP amid 7.4% inflation.
