The largest gas producer, Ukrgazvydobuvannya, increased production by 1.2%, to 15.4 billion cubic meters.
In January-December 2018, natural gas production in Ukraine increased by 0.4% year-on-year, up to 20.89 billion cubic meters, according to the state-owned gas transmission system operator, Ukrtransgaz.
In particular, gas production by the largest gas producer, Ukrgazvydobuvannya, for 12 months of 2018 increased by 1.2%, amounting to 15.42 bcm.
The largest oil company, Ukrnafta, in 2018 produced 1.08 billion cubic meters of gas, and other companies – a total of 4.39 billion cubic meters.

As UNIAN reported, according to Ukrtransgaz, Ukrainian state-owned and private extraction companies increased gas output by 3% in 2017 compared to 2016, to 20.8 billion cubic meters.
During the same period, our country reduced gas consumption by 4%, to 31.9 bcm.
