Ukraine's balance of payments in January-November 2018 was estimated at US$1.1 billion in surplus, which was 56.5% lower than the surplus for the same period in 2017, which stood at US$2.565 billion.
The balance of payments in November 2018 alone was US$1.3 billion in surplus, against US$491 million in surplus in November 2017, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) said on its website.

The deficit of the current account amounted to US$299 million in November 2018 and to US$4.4 billion in the 11 months of 2018.
The inflow of the financial account was estimated at US$1.6 billion in November 2018 and at US$5.5 billion in the 11 months of 2018.
As UNIAN reported, the surplus of Ukraine's balance of payments in 2017 was US$2.566 billion, which was twice the surplus in 2016, while the balance was in surplus for the third year in a row.
