Gas transit supplies from Russia via Ukraine in December 2018 alone shrank by 4.4% year-over-year.
Transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in 2018 declined by 7.1% from 2017, to 89.774 billion cubic meters (bcm).

In particular, gas transit supplies from Russia via Ukraine in December 2018 alone stood at 7.6 bcm, which was 4.4% down year-over-year, the state-run gas transport system operator Ukrtransgaz said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine transported 93 bcm of gas to European Union member states in 2017, which was a record high amount in the past years.
