State Property Fund approves list of smaller-scale SOEs to put up for sale in 2019

It includes companies from the 2018 list as well as some new ones.

Acting head of the State Property Fund (SPF) of Ukraine Vitaliy Trubarov says the Fund has approved a list of objects of "small-scale privatization" that are subject to sale in 2019.

"It includes both new facilities and those that were not sold last year. In total, it's 792 objects, including 48 blocks of shares, 92 single property complexes, 190 facilities under construction, 402 separate properties, and 59 social and cultural facilities," Trubarov wrote on Facebook on January 2.

According to the official, nearly 10 facilities of Ukraine's state-run military-industrial concern Ukroboronprom will be auctioned off in 2019. Among them, there are Kherson-based Sudmash, Vinnitsa Aviation Plant VIAZ, Zaporizhia Automobile Repair Plant, and Nizhyn Repair Plant for Armament Engineering.

Also to be sold is the Holovyne Rock Quarry, as well as single property complexes, namely Dniprovsky Electric Locomotive Plant, Kyivmashservis, and Pershotravneva Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP).

As UNIAN reported earlier, the State Property Fund of Ukraine on March 28 approved a list of almost 660 facilities of small-scale privatization that are subject to sale in 2018.

The State Property Fund on August 10 announced auctions to sell 147 small-scale facilities whose starting price was UAH 70 million ($2.6 million).

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman on December 7 said that revenue from the sale of small-scale facilities in 2018 totaled UAH 456 million ($16.6 million).
