Grain exports in the 2018-2019 marketing year (MY, July 2018 - June 2019) may increase to 47 million tonnes against 39.9 million tonnes in the previous marketing year, according to Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food, Maksym Martyniuk
"We expect total exports at the level of 47 million tonnes, although the market estimates are even higher – at 50 million [tonnes]," Martyniuk wrote in an oped for the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia weekly.

At the same time, he said that wheat supplies were expected to reach 16 million tonnes, of which 8 million tonnes is food wheat and 8 million tonnes of fodder.
In total, according to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, from July 1, Ukraine exported cereals worth more than UAH 5.6 million.
As UNIAN reported, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, in 2017-2018 MY, agrarians exported 39.9 million tonnes of grains.
