PrivatBank, the largest bank in Ukraine, is developing a technology for providing banking services through face, fingerprint and voice recognition, according to the head of the Board, Petr Krumphanzl.
Speaking at a press conference in the city of Dnipro on Tuesday, Krupmhanzl noted that biometrics was one of the bank's destinations of interest.
He has added that almost 9 million bank clients use the Privat24 mobile banking service, including almost 8 million people – on their smartphones.

This proves that Ukrainians love technology and love innovation, according to the official.
Also, the head of the board said that last year, the average monthly number of transactions through all PrivatBank channels increased by 69%.
UNIAN memo. PrivatBank (Dnipro) has been operating in the Ukrainian market since 1992 and remains the largest bank in terms of assets. The state has taken ownership over the bank in December 2016.
At the end of 2018, PrivatBank received UAH 11.7 billion of profit.
This year, the bank's profit target is over UAH 9 billion.
