In December last year, the state debt grew by 4.8% in the dollar equivalent.
Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt in 2018 rose by US$2.02 billion, or 2.6%, to $78.32 billion.
The debt in the hryvnia equivalent over the period under review increased by UAH 26.94 billion, or 1.3%, to UAH 2.169 trillion, according to the Ukrainian Finance Ministry's website.

In December 2018, the state debt grew by 4.8% in the dollar equivalent, as well as by 2.2% in the hryvnia equivalent.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt in 2017 dropped to 71.8% of GDP from 80.9% in 2016.
