Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Libya were major buyers of Ukrainian sugar last year.
Ukrainian enterprises in 2018 reduced sugar exports by 2.4% from 2017, to 584,800 tonnes worth US$216 million.

Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Libya were major importers of Ukrainian sugar last year, according to customs statistics reports posted by the State Fiscal Service (SFS) on its website.
At the same time, sugar imports in 2018 grew by 9.5% against 2017 to 1,700 tonnes worth $1.3 million.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine in 2017 increased sugar shipments abroad by almost a third, to 600,000 tonnes.
