The largest number of cars worth $385.67 million was imported into Ukraine from Japan, according to the State Fiscal Service (SFS) of Ukraine, referring to customs statistics.
Germany ranked second with car imports estimated at more than $375.27 million.
The U.S. became third with car imports worth $316.42 million.
The State Fiscal Service also added that Ukraine in 2018 exported cars to the tune of $9.067 million. Most of domestic cars were sold to Canada, the U.S., and the United Arab Emirates.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine in 2018 doubled sales of used cars, to 116,800 units.
