The number of written complaints sent to the National Bank of Ukraine in 2014 increased by three times compared to the previous year, to 32,808 letters, according to the Web site of the regulator.
In 2014, the greatest number of appeals was connected with the issues of deposit contracts - 59.48% of all appeals, credit agreements - 12.5%, and issues of banking supervision - 10.74%.
According to the regulator, resolutions of problems and clarifications were provided to 29,104 citizens (88.76%), while the rest of the complaints are being considered.
As UNIAN reported earlier, in 2013 the NBU received 10,919 written applications, which is 877, or 7.43%, less than in 2012.
