Last year's foreign trade deficit grew by almost 33% compared to 2017.
The deficit of Ukraine's foreign trade in goods and services in 2018 was estimated at US$ 11.492 billion, which was 32.9% higher than the deficit in 2017 (US$8.644 billion).
The deficit in foreign trade in goods alone grew by 34.1%, to $12.954 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine said on its website.

At the same time, Ukraine posted the surplus of foreign trade in services over the period under review. It grew by 43.5%, to US$1.462 billion, the NBU said.
UNIAN's memo. The State Statistics Service of Ukraine estimated the country's deficit of foreign trade in 2017 at US$2.625 billion versus a $541.6 million surplus in the previous year.
