Transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in January 2019 grew by 25.7% year-over-year (y-o-y), to 7.6 billion cubic meters (bcm).
As UNIAN reported earlier, transit shipments of natural gas through the Ukrainian gas transmission system (GTS) in 2018 declined by 7.1% from 2017, to 89.774 billion cubic meters (bcm).
In 2017, Ukraine transported to European Union member states a total of 93 bcm of gas, which was a record high amount in the past years.
