Revenue of Ukraine's consolidated budget grows by 12% to over US$3.1 bln in Jan

The national budget in the first month of 2019 received UAH 68.8 billion ($2.5 billion).

Revenue of Ukraine's consolidated budget, controlled by the State Fiscal Service (GFS), in January 2019 was estimated at UAH 87.1 billion, or US$3.1 billion, which was 12%, or UAH 9.3 billion ($335.3 million), up year-over-year (y-o-y).

The national budget in the first month of 2019 received UAH 68.8 billion ($2.5 billion), while the local budgets got UAH 18.4 billion ($663.3 million), which was 9.6% and 22% up y-o-y, respectively, according to the Ukrainian State Fiscal Service.

A total of UAH 19.9 billion ($717.4 million) in tax payments and UAH 22.5 billion ($811.1 million) in customs payments was channeled into the national budget's general fund over the period under review.

As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukraine's national budget in January 2019 received UAH 54.489 billion ($1.96 billion) in revenue, which was 10.8%, or UAH 6.564 billion ($236.6 million) below the planned figure and 1.3% down y-o-y.

The national budget of Ukraine for 2019 set a target of UAH 917.9 billion ($33.1 billion) in total revenue and UAH 991.7 billion ($35.7 billion) in expenditures. The budget deficit was capped at UAH 80.6 billion ($2.9 billion), or 2.4% of GDP. Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt was capped at UAH 2.449 trillion ($88.3 billion).
