Ukraine's economy minister says economy gross GDP grows by 3.4% in 2018

Ukrainian exports grew by 13.5% January through November 2018.

Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv says that the country's gross domestic product grew by 3.4% in 2018.

"Statistics which will be announced in February will show stabilization, growth of the Ukrainian economy by 3.4%," he said at a meeting of the Ukrainian parliament's faction leaders and chairpersons of the parliamentary committees.

According to Kubiv, Ukrainian exports grew by 13.5%, to $95.4 billion in January-November 2018.

As reported by UNIAN, the state budget for 2018 was based on 3% economic growth. The National Bank predicted Ukraine's GDP growth in 2018 by 3.4%, the government forecast a 3.2% increase. The International Monetary Fund expects the growth of the Ukrainian economy this year by 3.3%, the World Bank predicts it will grow by 3.5%.
