The European integration of Ukraine in terms of infrastructure is the fundamental principle of the ministry's work.
Ukraine and Poland have agreed within a month to jointly develop projects for the development of the railway infrastructure across Ukraine, which could involve Polish investments.
The relevant agreement was reached following negotiations between Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan and his Polish counterpart Andrzej Adamczyk in Kyiv January 31, according to the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
"The parties have agreed within a month to settle the situation with road freight and rail transportation, as well as to jointly develop projects for the development of the railway infrastructure in Ukraine, which could be implemented with the involvement of Polish investors," reads the report.

It is also reported that the European integration of Ukraine in terms of infrastructure is the fundamental principle of the ministry's work.
"In this aspect, we pay great attention to cooperation with the neighboring countries that are members of the European community. The success of cooperation with Poland is the key to successful European infrastructure integration of Ukraine," the press service quoted Omelyan as saying.
