In January 2019, National Joint-Stock Company Naftogaz of Ukraine paid about UAH 5.8 billion in taxes, the company press service reports.
"According to operational data, in January 2019, the Naftogaz group paid about UAH 5.8 billion in taxes to the state budget," the report said.
It is reported that revenues from the group's enterprises accounted for about 14% of the total state budget revenue in January 2019.
As UNIAN reported, Naftogaz of Ukraine in 2018 paid taxes and dividends worth UAH 136.5 billion, which is by one-third more than in 2017.

In 2017, Naftogaz increased its net profit by 48% year-on-year, to UAH 39.3 billion. In 2016, Naftogaz reported net profit at UAH 26.5 billion, while in 2015, the company saw a net loss of UAH 27.7 billion.
In 2017, Naftogaz paid over UAH 107.3 billion in taxes and dividends.
