The highway opens up new opportunities for the ports of Izmail and Reni.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has announced the completion of M15 Odesa-Reni highway repairs and the construction of a road bypassing Odesa.

"Promises were made to build the road for many years... Today, we are finishing an extremely important project on the construction of the Odesa-Reni highway and the road bypassing Odesa. This is a transport corridor that connects Odesa, Reni, and the border. Then it can be extended to Moldova, Romania, and Bulgaria," the president said at an official event on February 12 after the completion of road repairs in Odesa region.
According to Poroshenko, the highway opens up new opportunities for the ports of Izmail and Reni.
The final phase of the repairs is to be completed by April 2019, he said.
"There is still some work left to complete everything that is provided for under the project. But today we can say that there is a new, well-repaired, and good road from Reni to Odesa," he said.
