The cost of repayment of state debt fell by 35.5%.
Head of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine Tetiana Sliuz says expenditures on servicing of the public debt in 2018 grew by 4.4%, or UAH 4.9 billion (US$180.2 million), from 2017, to UAH 115.4 billion ($4.2 billion).
At the same time, the expenditures on repayment of the country's public debt in the past year shrank by UAH 129 billion ($4.7 billion), or 35.5%, to UAH 234.5 billion ($8.6 billion), she said on February 20, presenting the agency's report.

Ukraine's state and government-guaranteed debt last year did not exceed the limit set by the national budget for 2018, according to the State Treasury Service.
